Hiring: Utility
Job Summary:
We’re looking for a Utility team member to help maintain and support our day-to-day operations. In this role, you’ll handle general maintenance tasks, operate and troubleshoot equipment, and ensure our utility systems—from water to electricity—run smoothly and safely. You’ll also work closely with other departments to complete repairs and projects efficiently. If you’re hands-on, detail-oriented, and proactive about keeping things in top shape, we’d love to have you on the team.
Location: San Juan
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain various equipment and machinery used in utility operations.
- Perform general maintenance tasks such as repairing, painting, and cleaning utility facilities.
- Monitor and ensure the proper functioning of utility systems such as water, electricity, and gas.
- Respond to emergency situations and troubleshoot issues to ensure uninterrupted utility services.
- Assist in the installation and repair of utility lines and equipment as needed.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the safe operation of utility facilities.
- Coordinate with other team members and departments to complete utility projects and tasks efficiently.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment usage, and utility consumption.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and utility customers to address concerns and provide updates on utility operations.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices to improve utility operations and efficiency.
Job Specification/s:
- Graduate of any 4 yr course
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in Utility Staff or any similar role
- Strategic and creative mindset
- Knowledgeable on logistics/distribution
- Keen to details
- Very Good planner
- Computer literate (Proficient in MS Office, Word, PowerPoint)
- Proactive and create a positive experience for everyone
