Hiring: Coffee Cart Business Development and Coordinator

Job Summary:

We’re building a new department around our coffee catering service—and we’re looking for someone to lead the charge. As our Coffee Cart Business Development & Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for growing this side of the business: finding opportunities, managing client relationships, and ensuring every event delivers the same great Yardstick experience we’re known for. You’ll handle both the hustle behind the scenes and the energy on the ground.

Primary Role & Responsibilities:

Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new leads for coffee cart bookings across corporate, private, and public events
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of potential clients and partnerships
  • Develop pitch decks, proposals, and packages for different types of events
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on promotions and campaigns

Event Coordination & Execution:

  • Liaise with clients pre-event to confirm logistics, expectations, and requirements
  • Coordinate with internal teams for staffing, equipment, and product needs
  • Be on-site during events to lead setup, manage service flow, and troubleshoot as needed
  • Ensure a consistent and high-quality customer experience during each catering activation

Operational Support:

  • Maintain an updated calendar of bookings, leads, and follow-ups
  • Collect client feedback and support post-event wrap-ups
  • Help streamline systems and SOPs for future scale
  • Stay informed on trends in mobile coffee, experiential marketing, and events

Ideal Candidate Specifications:

  • Has experience in events, hospitality, or sales/business development
  • Strong communicator—both written and verbal—with great people skills
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and timelines
  • Hands-on and willing to be present at events, including early call times or weekend bookings
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Passionate about coffee and creating memorable experiences
  • Previous experience with food & beverage pop-ups, catering, or mobile activations is a big advantage
